  T1 Week 2 - Mentor Q&A

Just to left a quick note on our latest Q&A with Bill. It was... Yes, great. :) He showed us some of his work, answered on many questions and as usual we had fun.

I'm off to go in bed after the sleepless night.
Cheers.

  The UFO story of mine

While surfing over the Net, I came across some sites and articles about UFOs so I wanted to make a record of my experience on this matter.

First of all, I cannot remember the exact date, but it happened around 12 years ago. I've received the call from my best buddy to take a look threw my window and watch the sky since "some bright spheres are in the air". Huh... I did that but I could not see anything... Except couple of stars. Since the phone line was opened, I came back and said to him that there is nothing out there but he was almost screaming - "Yes, there are!". Even his mother could be heard in the background, commenting on "the sighting". He called me to come at his place ASAP to take a look. His building is a bit farther from mine, at the opposite side of courtyard that's in between, and the view from there is much broader. So we hanged up and I was running down the street in anxiety. :) Let me just remind you that he is really honest person and hey - my BEST buddy! Even his mother was there.

I runned up the stairs since I couldn't wait for the elevator to come and... aaand... AAAAND... "They're gone."

He and his mom, still under heavy impression, were told me that there were around five "glowing spheres" that they were changing positions in an unusual way for any known aircraft. At the end, all of them gathered in a group and flew up up in the sky at some tremendous speed. Yeah, right... and I was running at 'tremendous speed' to see anything that may not be from the outter space. :/

However... Something happened thereafter while we were looking through the window, expecting that "they will come back". AND THEY DID! COMING SOON IN THEATERS NEAR YOU! "War of the Worlds" - They're already here.

<heart beating>
^This is a joke and yes, an obvious joke, but let me just finish my story that is not.

From the window, we saw some lights from the ground parsing the sky. Recall yourself on those large AA reflectors from the time of WWII and you'll get the picture. Why those lights were there, were they searching for something?...

What was that "something"? That's the question I could probably never find the answer to but I am convinced that something veeery strange happened that day. At least for me. :)

Have a nice day. <X-Files theme fading out...>

  It's heating up ~ ~ ~...

The first week of AM is finished and it was very cool. :) We had a bunch of video lessons (incl. weekly one) so we could get insight in all aspects and techniques of animation. Very very cool! Now I am anxiously waitting for our next assignment as well as our new Global Q&A session on EpisodeIII with ILM guys: Delio Tramontozzi, Kevin Martel, and Charles Alleneck that will be held tonight. :)

We've been introduced to "Stu", one of the AM characters. :) I played with it for some time and here is what I've came up with.

AM Week 01 - Stu - Test pose 01 by TTesla

BTW I went in cinema that day and cause of certain (lucky lucky) circumstances, instead in the first row I took the place in the last (the best) one. :)

  First row only... no thanks!

As some of you may know, today I should went in the cinema to stuff myself with poopcor^H^H^H^H^H^H^H popcorn and to enjoy the ILM's latest wizardry on a big big screen. I just couldn't predict that the only tickets left were for the first row! :( How so? Because the projections are rescheduled to the smallest tinny-winny theater room of the cinema!

So I'll go tomorrow. I sense that... No matter what. First row? First row. I'll prepare myself. I'll find some wires so I can create an armature to hold my neck and the head for the time of screening. So when I settle myself into the chair, and people start to hush on me, I can blabber about... let's saaay... structured settlement of mine... But I do believe that those people would not be so annoying to be annoyed with stories of some SW fan and his structured settlements adventures! muehhehhehe

Please, understand me. If I don't do it, the structure of my neck would probably be diminished. Unless I go and buy the ticket at some reasonable time ie when I wake up.

Oink! :)

small print: kkhhmglobkhmal qhm&a... kmh cough... You're still reading this? huh. You're my hero! *hug* :) Just to note that I didn't left sooo disapointed cause of the circumstances since immediately thereafter I went on a dinner with a friend. Ohhh fish soup and grilled kalamari! mmmmmmm Sometimes, if you can't fill your head with special effects, you should try to fill up your stomach with some special food. Trust me, it's benefitial too.

  Ep2 of the Ep3

Tomorrow I'll go to watch the Episode III for second (and probably the last) time in cinema since it is leaving the theaters. I want to grab another chance to see it on a big screen with great sound.

small print:  ...and to prepare myself for the next AM Global Q&A. :)

  My first Mentor Q&A

Another sleepless night cause of AM Q&A. But hey! No regret in here! It is finished just before 10-15 minutes and it was GREAT! No lag, everything wents smoooth and we had a lot of fun.

Probably none of us didn't know (I didn't) how Bill looks like and suddenly - a BIIIG smile appeared over the mentor's window. :)

There is not much to say. The guy is great. Fellow students? They're great too! We had a lot of fun and everyone introduced themselves. I am sooo happy to be in the Bill's class with such a cool people around.

Andrea, thanks for breaking the ice. ;)

  My first AM Global Q&A

Last night, all of the AM students had a Global Q&A session with the AnimationMentor founders: Bobby "BOOM" Beck, Shawn Kelly and Carlos Baena.

It was a very memorable experience for me, dough I made a monkey of myself in front of the all people that were present at the moment because of the laglaglagl-aaa...lag. Well, someone has to be that too. ;/ Anyhow, there were a bunch of great people, both level A and level B students and one big THANKS goes to those B-ombers that were so kind to answer on all of our newbie questions. Thanks for the spirit you care and just keep it that way.

Beside that... I could not believe that so longly awaited event for me, the beginning of AM studies, would be shrouded with a lots of sadness and loneliness cause of disapointment at some people from my real life. I spent some quality time today with my friends and they did 'pull me out' a bit. I barely managed to watch Lesson 1 and than suddenly - the miracle happened. All of you girls and guys that are starred in the video are great yet special special thanks goes to Mr. Shawn Kelly who DID IT. You saw the lecture, right? You saw that golfing bang-bang-bang stuff? :) Yeah... I just forgot on all of the bad things that happened to me in the past few days and I... laughed. :) Thanks again Shawn. Thanks goes to all other people too for their such a positive attitude. YOU made my day.

Now I am very happy that I deal with such a great people, there at AnimationMentor.com and I do believe that all of us we'll have a great time together! I wish you aaaaaall the best and see you on campus as soon as I setup my profile and register on AM forums.

Sincerely thanks.

Uhh... I lost my apetite. :)) Nonono not because something's wrong but EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE! Sorry for the caps but I AM SOOOOO HAAAPPYYYY! WOOHOOO!

Bill is currently working as an animator at DreamWorks on their upcoming feature "Over the Hedge" and he was working on "Madagascar" that I still didn't had a chance to see. Now, just imagine how I'll feel when I go to cinema! All of the people that watched Mad were totally LTAO and now I'll have DOUBLE JOY for the price of one ticket: to watch such a great animated comedy and to guess what scenes Bill has animated. :))

Cool cool. Everything is so cool and I've got tired and exhausted even more cause of all of this excitement. Now, it's PIZZA TIME!

Lots of mozzarella, tuna pieces, pepperoni,
Lots of mozzarella, tuna pieces, pepperoni... lalalaaaa.... hrmpf mrmph hhhgmph!

  Camera works.

Today, Dunja brought me a webcam. :) Logitech Quickcam 4k... Yes, PRO, that's the one. ... Ok, I assume myself for a PROfessional geek now. Dough!

Anyhow, after the installation I did a small animation test that you can see below. At first, I thought to name it "A Woman on a Phone"... but I didn't. No, honestly... I-DID-NOT! :))

At last, let's just call it - "A Cam Test". :)

  Dunja... :)

Today is my so awaited D day cause Dunja is coming to Belgrade. Anxiety overhelms me...

She is my friend from Bellevue/WA and a very nice and cute person. :) We spent last 8 months online, chatting and having fun, and also she helped me a TON on my AM registration. And today... She is coming! :) I can't wait to see her.

Her route wents from Seattle to NYC, than from NYC to Frankfurt (Germany) aaand finally from Frankfurt to Belgrade. In no way I can expect that we'll go and have fun around the city just after her arrival because she will probably be exhausted but... perhaps tomorrow? :P Ah, we'll settle something. Anyway, I am pretty happy that she is coming. After 7 years without a single vacation, finally her time has come. :)

Besides, my preparations for the beginning of the classes are almost finished. I couldn't continue reading "Illusion of Life" but there will be time. It's more important now that I managed to cleaned up my appartment (no more books and pencils all around and that was THE EFFORT! hahha) and that my computer is now cleaned up (both from 'inside' and outside hahah).

Sooo (if anyone is reading this dough I doubt it hahhha) see you soon! I need to run to the airport! :) Byeee...

  I AM in! :)

I am so happy! Honestly, I don't know what more to say... :)

  the application is complete... :)

Today I received a mail from Kelli at AM that my wire transfer arrived sooo that means my application process is completely finished. Ah at last... :)

Now I am (in)patiently waiting to be mailed by Rosie/Luis with my Student ID. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee I can't believe this is actually happening... but it is! :))

Beside that, I am cleaning my appartment and disk drives. The only thing that bugs me is that though I like everything to be sorted properly - I don't like sorting at all! Very boring and slow process that is... Yes, I know you know. :)
